Time to go home....

I have such a new respect for Mexico, they are truly the most giving, loving and nicest people in the world.....  Cabo is a beautiful place, just not the place to spend the rest of my life in.

How did this happen???

There it was just only 3 weeks left til I move to Cabo San Lucas, got to see some old high school friends that evening, and making plans to see a few more that couldn't make it that evening.  Everything falling into place so perfectly and so excited to start this new chapter of my life!  After my most recent break up just days before my little Loara mini reunion,  yes you can all stop laughing now!  LOL  I had my mind set on making the most out of my new adventure and doing it a little different than planned originally,  My plan, focus on my kids, ME,  my new career & my soon to be new Villa Group family...  Their was ZERO thought in my head let alone heart to even think about another man in my life at this point!   THEN I MET THE MAN OF MY DREAMS..... Michael Gargano!!

Timing...

 Timing is everything! 

This quote jumped out at me today... makes PERFECT sense to me now.  This past year has obviously been a roller coaster ride for me in all aspects of my life, but for the most part, my relationships...

The past week and a half has been rough, once again George and I have called it quits. We have given it our all,  this time I think we have realized we are not meant for one another.  We see things so differently in what we believe a relationship really is.  Sadly there is resentment on both sides for many things, honestly I think we both stayed for the wrong reasons.  However I am so thankful for my life with him, he has taught me a lot about myself and what it is I want and hope he feels the same.

 There was something he would say to me often that has stuck in my head over the years, he would say to me while watching a romantic movie "Wouldn't it be great to love someone that much?" 

 He was right, yes George, it would!  I don't know if we ever had that kind of love for each other... 

But that's what love should feel like with the person you are meant to be with forever!  Right?  

I have heard so many times from so many people say to me that relationships are tough, (agreed)  and that you lose that exciting feeling of butterflies and being in love after so long...  

 I say "BULLSHIT"  

I believe there is that fairytale love out there, not saying everyday will always be perfect, but saying you CAN be in love forever with the right person, and you can have that exciting butterflies in your stomach feeling if that's what you want, you just gotta remember what you both desire and don't forget to tell them how lucky you are to have them in your life. Don't take them for granted, show them daily how much you love them, appreciate each other, be kind hearted and gentle along the way.

This is what I have learned from my failed relationships....

One thing I know for certain is that I will have a friend for life with him, and I hope he knows he will have the same from me...

Sold!

Yup....  Finally Sold!  Just the other day I was thinking to myself, "If the house doesn't sell, maybe I'm not meant to move?"  Guess What?  I am meant to MOVE...  Very exciting I have to say.  We have had the house up for sale for 6 weeks I believe by owner, not much advertising at all, showed it to a handful of people.  But as soon as we put it on the MLS, after only being on there for 9 days.  We get 2 offers!!!  Imagine that.  Just a little advice,  If you want to sell your house quick, either get a realtor or put it on the MLS yourself.  That's what we did, its a flat fee service to do this.  Terrific advice I got from a client of mine about a month ago.  It was all perfect timing. I am able to still work until I have to move and I don't have to move twice!!! It feels very cool to have someone love my home the way I do, they loved everything I had done to the house inside, from my painted walls, to the venetian plaster kitchen and everything on the outside we did....  Looks like painting the exterior and fixing our front yard landscape was a good idea.  Even though I'm excited to end this chapter by selling the house, I am a little sad to let it go, I put my whole heart into this home. But like I always say, everything happens for a reason.  Best thing of all is that I actually stayed in the same place for almost 4 years, Wow! Now that's a record...  Ha Ha Ha

Im Booked!

Hola, It's official,  my airline is booked... I leave Friday October 12th!!!  Wow, its coming quick now and even more so since the plans have changed a bit.  You would think I would be scared to take off on this adventure, but crazy enough I'm NOT...  Is that weird?  This whole time we have been planning this adventure together, but I guess things change... Well I should know that by now , Right?

Now that it is coming down to selling everything I own, finishing up my last few weeks of clients and starting to find enough suitcases to pack up my stuff.. I'm finally getting excited.
Getting an email every other day from Gen, giving me details on what to expect when I arrive in my new paradise.  I will be rooming with another recruit for the first two weeks until I find a place of my own.  Nice thing is I get to find out who my roommate will be soon, so we will be able to get to know one another prior to just walking through the door of the hotel and not even knowing each others  names...  Phewwwww   That's a relief. 

Been watching videos of what I will be doing for work, and seeing the city through the camera lens, makes it even that much more exciting to get there.  I have always wanted to live at the beach, never thought it would be in another country, especially Mexico of all places.  The great thing is I get to be surrounded by gorgeous waters, sand, culture, shopping and night life!  Damn I'm gonna have it rough....  Hasta la proxima (Until next time)

START ON THE LINE!

I have had such an amazing career with my skincare business and have met and got to know so many great people over the past 9 years, now its time to start fresh.  On my own, getting to know myself all over again.  I'm so ready to revamp myself in every way possible.  This is my chance to be a better person to the people in my life, my family, my friends, new and present, and especially my children the MOST IMPORTANT PART of my new transformation.  Thank you Rick for giving me this opportunity to get myself back on track for myself and our children!  I am a very lucky person to have the people who care so much about me in my life right now.

Have you ever...

Have you ever been driving down the street or for that matter the freeway, and find yourself in such a deep thought.  That when you finally realize you are driving in the middle of all those fast moving cars and trucks, that you have no idea how in the hell you were able to focus on your driving and get to where you were at that point?  Almost as if you were day dreaming and wake up out of that dream to find yourself driving and had not run into the car in front of you?

This is something I seem to find myself doing quite often, and actually I have done it for a very long time.   I can remember back when I lived in Boston, and I had been so deep into a thought or I think just dreaming of something.  I hadn't even realized I had past my exit more than 10 miles ago....

Thinking about this, this morning.  I have come to the conclusion that I have been writing, thinking and telling my story in my head for years and years now.  Not til just now did I see, that I have wanted to do this for some time now.

Back in high school, my message read "I will see you all in Hollywood" in my senior yearbook.  I had always wanted to be famous, back then I thought that meant, on television or in magazines.  Now that I'm all grown up, OK maybe not completely.  I think I have accomplished more than I thought I had with this being famous thing.  As a mother, a wife, a friend or a boss.  Living in this small community and working so close with so many people here, I am known by many and know many many people here.  I have built many businesses, friends, acquaintances, circles and have been involved in the community for over 13 years now.  Now that I'm dabbling in something new and exciting, this is just another thing to add to my famous words as a Senior...  It may not be in the actual city of "Hollywood", but this is my Hollywood.  I get to finally share my passion for writing, with my personal experiences as well as all stories that are just floating around in my head.  I have many things to learn in this new avenue.  That's the fun part, I get to try something new and learn more and more great things I have to offer people in my past, present and in my future.   With the excitement of being able to create this blog and share with all of you, it is just a prime example of what's to come.   I have started my book, something much more in depth than just this little blog.  I have lived and will continue to live a very happy, hilarious, exciting, fun, unforgettable, amazing, loving, heart breaking, fabulous, tear jerker kind of life.   Soon to be written for all my friends, family, the jealous, the envious, past co workers, my exes, and the public to read!

One crazy thing about life, is that most of us live each day to try and better ourselves in what we have been given.  Then there are the ones who thrive on the drama and the pain that causes heart break, and distrust.  This is life people, no matter how you live it, live it to the fullest.  I sure am, I will take every chance I get to better myself, every chance I get to try something new, every chance I get to explore this world and to help others as well as to make a life worth living for my children, my family and the people around me.  

Good, bad or indifferent____ There is a reason for EVERYTHING peeps,  trust me on this one!

I got it!!!

Had such a great day yesterday,  Ricky and I started out bright and early in the morning with another moving sale, after dropping Ciara off at school.  One thing about Canyon Lake on a Friday, its the best day for a garage sale...  Yes a Friday, weird right?  LOL

Had so many people come over to see me, shop and talk Cabo, friends I haven't seen in a while.  Still it amazes me on how so many people I know, and don't know are willing to share their journey's with me.   Listening to you all tell me such great things about this new place I will soon call home, makes it that much more exciting to begin this incredible journey.   Thank you so much for sharing your stories with me.  I am so excited for this great opportunity I am given.

On our way out for the evening we stop at the mail box to find?  A priority envelope, as I'm opening it I realize whats inside, Yes MY PASSPORT!  Woo to the Hoo Hoo!!!   Ricky grabs it and smells it... he says "Mom it smells so good"  hahaha  He loves making me laugh.  It has been so nice hanging out with him lately.  He is an amazing kid, he has grown up so fast.  So weird to think he will be 18 in just 7 months...  Holy Moly!

He's right.  It does smell good!  LOL
