My Own Weight Loss/Fitness Challenge

Ok, here it goes...  I have been in a slump now for the past 5-6 weeks, its time to get my butt out of that bed and back into the gym as well as eating the right kind of foods again.

I am going to monitor my daily intake of foods, exercise and my Zeal.

I will be posting pics of myself to show results, yes Im crazy to start this in the middle of winter and most of all during the holidays.  Owell, call me crazy then.. Im pretty sure I have been called a lot WORSE!!!  

So here it goes, this morning I was reading on Facebook a post about combining Honey & Cinnamon for so many things, one being weight loss. This is going to be one thing I do during this Challenge.  Each morning I will start out boiling one cup of water adding to that 1 part cinnamon to 2 parts honey, I will drink this 30 minutes before I eat my breakfast, as well as in the mid afternoon on an empty stomach and before I goto bed...

Im also going to start making myself fruit and veggie smoothies,(not juicing) In the beginning Im going to have a minimum of 32 oz. of this daily and work my way up to doing just my smoothies everyday until my birthday February 19, 2014... 

Im going to eat clean, no breads, no starches, and no dairy!! 

So her I go!!!

My goal weight is 128 with muscle which clearly is missing here!!!

There is never a dull moment in my life as most of you know.....

I have been back in Cali now for almost 3 months, trying to figure out what Im going to do, where Im going to settle and what to do for work???

So today, I was with a client/friend of mine I have known now for years...  Love this woman!  She had said she missed reading my blog, also she was asking where I was living now!  I began to tell my story like I always do  lol  and as of yesterday I had decided to stay around town.  My daughter is starting high school next month..  HOLY COW!  My youngest going into the last four years of school, cant believe that one, anyways.  Deciding to stay here is what she wants, so here we go again.. its time to get my business back up and running.  

However, of course Im going to try something different.  hahaha  you can all stop laughing now!  Only thing different is Im going to be going Mobile with what I know best.

New Beginnings

Just finished reading Purpose Driven Life written by Rick Warren.  I have learned so many things about myself while reading this book.  My boyfriend Michael, suggested I read this book to help me build a close relationship with Jesus.  From the moment I met Michael, I was very interested in getting to know Jesus on a much higher level than I have ever thought I wanted before.  Michael is the closest person I know who tries to live his day to day life just like Jesus.  I have learned so much even from him.  but after reading today's chapter I knew this is where I was going to start spreading Gods love through me and my writing, to reach world wide, not just my local area.
  

My life I have always said everything happens for a reason, now I know that is so true.  God has a purpose for each and every one of us here on earth.  With my passion for writing this past year, this is one of my purposes in which to share his love.

So I have converted my blog, from MY GYPSY DIARIES, to MY LESSONS.....  If anyone out there has read my previous posts, you will see many of my trials and tribulations, however there are so many more beyond what I have posted in my blog.  Now I get to look back and see what lessons I have learned from all my experiences.  

Our life here on earth is a test, and now that I know that, I can see exactly why the things in my life have happened.  Maybe not everything as of yet, but in due time I will.

Each and everyday I learn something new about, why I have been the person I was in my past, why things have happened or not happened, who the people I am suppose to be surrounding myself with, who to trust or not to trust, how to let go of the past, how to move on, how to love with all I have, how to be more like Jesus, how to be a better mom, a better friend, a better girlfriend and how to spread God's love to the ones who haven't experienced it yet....

One of the most amazing things about each day is that I get to live my life here on earth, with the plan that Jesus has for me. By living it through the power of his love and knowing this is just my temporary home.  Knowing this, puts a whole new perspective on my life...  there is more to just the everyday things that we all do and more to all the possessions that we own.  Its so much bigger than that.  I have never been the one who has wanted the "big" things in life, like the fancy cars or big homes.  Don't get me wrong I absolutely love to shop, and love new things.  However I have never let that define me by any means.  I also have never been the one who was very good with my money, as soon as I made it I spent it.  Not so proud of that, that's for sure.  but what I am proud of is that money doesn't define who I am either.  I have always thought of myself as a giving, loving, caring, compassionate, honest and trusting person....  now that I have read this book, and become closer to Jesus, I have realized, that yes I was that type of person, but in a selfish way...  Where I'm going with this is, now that I have realized my purpose here on earth.   I want to be the "selfless" giving, loving, caring, compassionate, honest and trusting person I was shaped to be. I want to belong to a church, I want to contribute myself to this world and to the people who are in need of Gods love.  I want to go on a mission to help others, and to spread the love of God with people around the world.  When you stop thinking of just yourself and start thinking about "WJWD" (what Jesus would do) life just seems so much brighter!!!

Life is a highway...

 

 

 

The day is almost here, where our life will be on the highway....  finally get to drive to our new place in Texas to see my kids!  So excited to see them, this has been the longest I have ever been away from them!   By the time we get there it will be 2 months and 5 days without seeing them in person, without being able to hug and kiss on them whenever I want!  This has been the hardest 2 months I have ever experienced..  Having a vacation away from the kids every once in awhile is sometimes needed, but being away from them for this long is torture!  I don't know what I was thinking moving my ass to another country without me children!!!  My head was obviously a bit F'D up at that time in my life!  So glad I got my head back on straight as fast as I did, thanks to Mike and my family for all of their support during this rough patch I had to overcome!  I love you with all my heart and couldn't have got through this without all of you by my side.

  

Being a mom is the most challenging jobs on the planet, however the most rewarding ones as well.  I cant wait to arrive in our new home and get to be with the 3 most rewarding gifts of all.  Ricky, Cody & Ciara you are all one of a kind, beautiful, thoughtful, loving, spectacular human beings and I am so honored to be your mom! 

 

With all that said, Mike and I will be on the road to our continued happiness this weekend with a possible detour to Vegas to have one last little hurrah with the cousins before the year comes to an end......  then it will be a 2 day drive to Frisco, Texas. 

This will be yet another new journey for myself, since Texas is somewhere I have never been.  Well besides the time I flew to Dallas when the boys were just babies, for a job interview with American Airlines to be a flight attendant...  Failed to get that job, I'm thinking since I got sicker than a dog on the flight home!!  SO FUNNY

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to a new life with my kids and Mike in a new town, a new state with many more exciting journeys to experience as a family.

 

 



Cabin Fever!!!

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks I have been back to Cali, I am very glad to be back with my loved ones don't get me wrong...  However, not working is driving me bonkers!!!

 

Had a terrific time since I got back, we have got to hangout with some of Mike's friends..  I got to meet his gorgeous daughters, we got to spend thanksgiving week up in Big Bear with my mom's side of the family, got to take some snow boarding lessons (OUCH!!!!), Christmas parties, shopping, going out to see things Mike and I haven't done before as a couple, and now hanging out with my parents at their place until we do our drive back down to Cabo then off to Texas! 

 

I completely and totally admire the stay at home moms out there,  yes I did it for the first 9 years of my kids lives so I do remember what its like, but now that I haven't done that for the last 9 years I have realized how much I love to be out of the house & working!!!  I have no idea if I will ever be able to never work again... 

 

The past few days, while Mike has been working and with me staying home I have been going absolutely nuts.  My dad is retired now and to have his life right now is FRICKIN INSANE!!! 

I'm just saying if I were to live this life each and everyday, I would be at least 300 pounds, be wearing the thickest glasses to see with and have sores on my big ass butt from sitting on the couch watching TV, on the computer playing games on facebook all day and be eating 24 frickin 7!!!  I don't know how he does it... 

 

Even though I will miss being here, I CAN NOT WAIT TO GET ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!

Looking forward to our next journey together, driving to Cabo to get my things then driving up to our new place in Frisco Texas, where I get to finally see my babies.  I have missed them so much.  This Christmas will be even more special this year, in Texas with the love of my life and my most favorite 3 people in the world! (Ricky, Cody & Ciara)  I will see you very soon babies...
